“What would my workload look like if I took you on as an Accountability Coach?”
My reputation is starting to spread as strict task master & I’m OK with that. You wouldn’t want a push over for an Accountability Coach, what would be the point? But I do need to quash these fears that are being raised about the workload you’d be taking on if we work together. There is no EXTRA work! Once your goal & steps have been clarified (the first document you receive after payment) it’s only work that you should be doing anyway. More often than not your workload will decrease as you focus more on what will impact the most and stop doing stuff to make yourself appear busy.
Focusing on & working towards your big goal will give you the clarity to ask;-
- Why have I got this job on my to-do list?
- Will doing this task get me closer to my goal?
- Am I the best person to do it?
- Can it be outsourced?
- What can I do this time to make it quicker next time?
- Are there tools I can use before I try and reinvent the wheel?
The other day I had a client say she needed to upload over 60 items to her site, a quick chat about perceived value and only 5 required loading. Making sure all your actions are in line with your goal, purpose and branding are just some ways to seriously reduce your workload. Other tasks I’ve set clients have included;-
- No computer/internet access for 3 days &
- Go on a date with your husband
So maybe I’m not as much of a slave driver as you think 😉

You have raised some great points there Amanda!
Great Article Amanda. Since I have started working with you I have let go of so much stuff I thought that I had to do. I have just outsourced my first tasks. And you know what – yep I’m still busy but I’m busy with paying work from new clients instead of being busy with stuff.
