When is celebrating called for?
Celebrating with….
Party on dude. Excellent.
You make me feel like dancing. Let’s dance the night away.
I’m a party girl, in a party world.
And so on. I’m sure you get the idea that I’m here today to get your party started! It’s all about celebrating every little step you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you. Actually, no I won’t because that’s kind of creepy.
Instead, I am standing here, or actually sitting typing, to help you understand that every little step you take is part of your journey and a thing to be proud of. This is true for both your personal and public lives, your business and your inner self.
Because I’m happy. Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof.
Or simply clap along because you are moving forwards on your journey. That’s why I am clapping for you. But enough singing for one day, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty.
Celebrate and Enrich Your Life Every Day
One of my many jobs as an accountability coach (and you can find more about what I do in my blog “What the hell is an accountability coach?”), is to celebrate your success. But I don’t believe that a celebration should just be limited to when you have totally achieved a goal. That’s because I know you would have worked on multiple little pieces of the puzzle to achieve each and every goal.
Everyone is on a journey, no matter whether you have planned it out in great detail, have some of an idea where you are heading or are flying blind (which hopefully you aren’t!). Along with your journey, you will do some things you don’t really want to do and others you’ll adore. Ensure that you get to do the amazing stuff you want to do by creating an adventure list.
Making an Adventure List
An adventure list is all the stuff you really want to do on your journey. It’s the little (and big) experiences that enrich your life and make it memorable. It can be as simple as taking some time out for a walk every day in the park, or perhaps you want to visit Peru. Your business-related adventure list could have you visiting a new supplier or attending a webinar. Whatever you put on your adventure list, make sure that they are things you really want to do and can form a part of your celebrations.
If you are struggling with coming up with how you are going to celebrate each step, then head over to take a look at the article on Daring To Live Fully’s website called 50 simple ways to celebrate and enjoy life. No matter if your steps are big or small, or if you have achieved your goals or are still working towards them, take the time to celebrate today. Let me know what celebrating you are going to do over the coming weeks. Tell me one step you’ve taken and how you partied hard because of it in the comments below!
