You Know when you Know something but don’t get off your bottom to do what you Know, so makes what you Know kind of pointless? Yer that.
After spending years exploring marketing opportunities with clients, highlighting ways to attract the right clients, I felt it was time to take my own advice and explore the amazing possibilities of Blogging.
1) Inbound Marketing is the most rewarding way to get new customers. No hard sell, just a trust built form providing value until they are ready to buy.
2) SEO (Search Engine Optimisation). A whole subject unto its self, SEO is all about how people find you On-Line. By Blogging you are creating new content to keep Google looking in your direction.
3) Giving your audience a chance to Engage. You can get amazing insights into the inner workings of your audiences minds by encouraging comments on your Blogs. How great would it be to be given the answer to the question “What Do My Clients Want?” from potential & current clients? No more guessing means you can deliver exactly what they want. Win:Win:Win
4) Orgainsing your own thoughts on a subject. It’s only once you write something down that you can fully construct & craft your knowledge & experience, see new angles and solutions to be able to provide a better service for your clients.
5) Become a trusted expert in your field. As with all marketing, blogging should be part of a bigger tool kit. With a dedicated following, you could become the “go to” for PR opportunities/ Speaking Gigs / Guest Blogs in your niche etc.
BONUS Remember once you’ve made the content it can be re-purposed for Social Media, Information Products, Lead Capture, Direct Mail & Resources.

A timely reminder of the benefits of blogging for your business Amanda, thank you. As the new year gets under way I find myself reaffirming my goals, especially those that see me interacting more with my audience. I am preparing a marketing calendar that should keep me on track to blog, podcast and video on a consistent basis. The aim is a weekly blog post at the very least. It’s very tough to make time, so to help get started I am making appointments in my calendar so that I sit down at write.
I love reading blogs so it is definitely a great way of getting your business seen. 🙂
So true Amanda! I think blogging also gets quite addictive! I’m kinda weird but I love the satisfaction of publishing a blog post 🙂

I’m with you on this one Amanda! Blogging is a big part of my new business routine this year. I know the benefits, but it’s one of those things I’ve always put off (and off, and off) or I’d write the odd blog post now and again. Getting into a consistent routine is the key I think!
Thank you Callie, One step at a time 🙂
