Sales lesson from a 3 year old, how I was taught about persistence

Sales Lesson - Buzzy BeesA Sales Lesson in Persistence

3yr old – “Mummy look bees.”

Me – “Yes honey, lots of bees.” *Pointing to a few*

3yr Old- “Bees up.” *Arms outstretched to be picked up*

Me- “Sorry Mum’s back is hurting.” [The truth, I had had him in the backpack earlier that day, my back was twinging].

3yr old- “Where the bees gone?”

Me- “The bees are up there.” *Pointing to some he can easily see*

3yr old- *Cheeky smile* “Bees. Up. OK” said with the tone that he had just won the negotiation. *Pulls cheeky grin, with arms outstretched again*

I could see this would be a never ending battle and con-seed defeat, he gets picked up.
