Lost as to what to post?????
Here are my top 5 places to get post ideas from:-
1) Post Planner, this is a fab app I discovered for posting to multiple places on Facebook (Pages/groups/personal etc) that you can schedule to go out whenever. Even on the free use, it gives you post suggestions.
2) Buffer is a great way of using great content you come across, whilst on line. You down load the icon to your browser tool bar and every time you spot something you’d like to share on your social channels you can scheduled it there and then.
3) Quotes are a great way of posting something when you are stuck and it’s easy to find nice short ones with plenty of meaning. Great for the 140 characteristics limit on Twitter. You can find quotes like below HERE
“The wise man questions the wisdom of others because he questions his own, the foolish man, because it is different from his own”
-Leo Stein
4) Brian Fart! – Yes, you read that right. Get your self; a blank wall, post-its and a pen. You are going to write down everything that is floating round your head right now. No editing, just write. Once you’ve done that, organise them in to relevant sections on the wall. I can guarantee you’ll have heaps of content to use for more then just posts.
5) Look at what you’ve already got. It is amazing how much you can re-purposes into posts. I managed to organise tons of posts for a client just buy looking at the government documents around their subject. These are public information records so no issue with copy right. It is also worth looking at your website, testimonials, policies & procedures, suppliers information and sites etc. I’m sure you’ve got a months worth of posts at least there.
BONUS
Have a note taking device with you at all times. Your smart phone is perfect for taking pictures and making notes whenever inspiration strikes.
Happy Posting 🙂
